Cleveland 4  New York 7  Mark Teixeira hit a grand slam  His first homerun of the season and New York Yankees beat the Cleveland Indians 7-4.  Justin Masterson was roughed up for seven runs for Cleveland.

Houston 2 Los Angeles 1 – Chris Carter homered, Erik Bedard pitched seven strong innings for his first victory of the season, and the last-place Houston Astros completed a four-game sweep of the Los Angeles Angels with a 2-1 victory

Chicago 2  Seattle 4  Raul Ibanez hit a two-run homer and Joe Saunders pitched into the seventh inning to lead the Seattle Mariners over the slumping Chicago White Sox 4-2

Miami 2 Philadelphia 7  Domonic Brown  homered for the eighth time in eight games at Kyle Kendrick scattered six hits as the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Miami Marlins 7-2. Brown, the NL player of the month for May, continued his torrid hitting by going 3 for 4

Pittsburgh 2 Atlanta 7  Brian McCannJason Heyward and Freddie Freeman each hit a two-run homer, helping Kris Medlen and the Atlanta Braves beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 7-2

Colorado 0 Cincinnati 3 –  Bronson Arroyo  held the Colorado offense to four singles in eight innings, and Jay Bruce had a two-run homer among his three hits, leading the Cincinnati Reds to a 3-0 victory over the Colorado Rockies

Oakland 10 Milwaukee 2Coco Crisp  had four hits including a leadoff home run and Oakland A’s starter Colin Malone allowed five hits and struck out 4/7 strong innings to lead  Oakland over Milwaukee 10-2

Arizona 1 St. Louis 7 – The Cardinals got seven solid innings from Lance Lynn in home runs from the Yadier Molina and Carlos Beltran to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-1

San Diego 1 Los Angeles 2 –  Adrian Gonzalez and Scott Van Slyke homered To back up the pitching of Stepehn Fife  and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the San Diego Padres 2-1. Yasiel Puig  As successful debut with the Dodgers with two hits
