Evan Gattis Homer Leads Braves in 5-4 Victory

Braves closer Craig Kimbrel would pitch a scoreless top of the tenth-inning, deferring to the Atlanta offense in the bottom of the inning.

Following a double by Jason Heyward and an intentional walk to Justin Upton, Freddie Freeman would single to right field, scoring Heyward and winning the game for the Braves.

The Braves have now won five games in a row and improve to a 27-18 record, maintaining a four game lead over the Washington Nationals in the NL East standings.
