PHOENIX – Ike Davis homered three times and added a base hit with fourth at-bat for the New York Mets, and the Mets lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-3.
Ian Kennedy pitched into the seventh inning for the Diamondbacks and struck out nine.
He allowed three runs on seven hits. Kennedy walked one.
Miguel Montero homered for the Diamondbacks.
