The Toronto Blue Jays rallied from a seven run deficit that was capped when J.P. Arencibia hit a two-out, two-run home run in the top of the ninth inning off Rays closer Fernando Rodney.
The Rays took a 5-0 lead when Evan Longoria in a grand slam in the third inning. After James Loney doubled to right field Luke Scott homered to give Tampa Bay a 7-0 lead.
Jeremy Hellickson quickly gave 3 runs back in the top of the fourth when Colby Rasmus homered to center-field, and then Melky Cabrera singled to score Munenori Kawasaki. Mark DeRosa then added a two-run home run in the sixth.

Joel Hanrahan blew the save in the ninth and left the game with an apparent injury. Stephen Drew doubled to deep left center to score Jarrod Saltalamacchia. Shane Victorino, Drew and Dustin Pedroia had home runs for Boston.
