Josh Reddick was among nine first time Gold Glove winners
The 2012 Gold Glove winners from the National League and American League were announced on ESPN. Here is this year’s list, complete with a breakdown of each player.

Baltimore’s Matt Wieters won his second straight Gold Glove Award. He posted a .991 fielding percentage this season, and the first Orioles position player to win consecutive Gold gloves since Rafael Palmeiro in 1997-98
The Washington Nationals had a great season and Adam LaRoche was a big reason why. LaRoche collected his first Gold Glove Award at first base with a .995 fielding percentage.
