Paul Goldschmidt added three hits with a run scored and an RBI Starling Marte this hit his third home run of the season in the loss. Miami 4 – New York 2 – Giancarlo Stanton, Carlos Lee had one RBI each, and John Buck added 2 and the Marlins downed the Mets 4-2. Carlos Zambrano got the win form the bullpen. Daniel Murphy was 2 for 5 and hit his 4th home run of the year. Jonathan Niese fanned four and walked one in the game for the Mets.
