NL Recaps – Pirates Rally over Hard-Luck Astros

HOUSTON –  Drew Sutton scored on a wild pitch and the Pittsburgh Pirates rallied with two runs in the ninth-inning to beat the Houston Astros 6-5.

Joel Hanrahan came on in the ninth-inning to record his 31st save of the season.

Rhiner Cruz gave up the two runs in the ninth, failing to record an out giving up two runs on one hit.

Alex Presley and Michael McKenry each homered for the Pirates. Ben Francisco and Chris Johnson homered for the Astros.

The loss was the 11th in a row for the Astros, a team record.
