The Baltimore Orioles have not competed in the American League East since the late 90s. Manager Buck Showalter has them competing in 2012.

Zack Greinke is the latest starter the Orioles are reportedly interested in acquiring. The 2009 American League Cy Young Award winner who is a free-agent at the end of the season.
Greinke won’t come cheap in terms of what players would have to go back to the Brewers in a trade.
Greinke is making 13.5 million in the last year of his deal. He is pitching to a 3.08 ERA and is 9-2 in 17 starts with the Brewers.
Today it was reported that Duquette contacted the Houston Astros about Wandy Rodriguez. And there will be more players to discuss.
