Roy Oswalt To Make His Rangers Debut Against the Colorado Rockies

Tthe Texas Rangers are already one of the best teams in the American League.  Friday night three time All-Star Roy Oswalt is scheduled to make his Rangers debut against the Colorado Rockies. Oswalt was signed by the Rangers last month and has been in the minor leagues building up his arm strength.  Oswalt has not appeared in a major league game since Game 4 of the 2011 National League Division Series when he was a member of the Philadelphia Phillies. He has four starts in AAA and the Rangers think the time is now to insert them into their starting rotation.  In his last outing he gave up two runs on six hits with a walk and five strikeouts.  Pitching for the Rangers, Oswalt doesn’t have to be perfect. The Rangers feature one of the games most potent offenses. that alone carried the Rangers to the World Series the last two years. Oswalt joins a staff Colby Lewis, Yu Darvish and Matt Harrison.
