Marco Scutaro Traded To Giants For Prospect and Cash

Marco Scutaro Giants NewsThe Colorado Rockies traded veteran infielder Marco Scutaro to the San Francisco Giants for minor league second baseman Charlie Culberson and cash.

Scutaro is hitting .271/.324/.359 and has played mostly second base for the Rockies.

He has played some shortstop, is expected to play both in San Francisco.

Scutaro was acquired by the Rockies in a deal with the Red Sox last winter.

Scutaro in owed $2.2 million for the rest of the season.
