Jackson made $11 million last year with the Washington Nationals

The Chicago Cubs have finalized their deal with free-agent right-hander Edwin Jackson. Jackson and the Cubs reached an agreement on a four-year $52 million deal last month. A news conference is scheduled for 3 PM CT. Jackson will will join a rotation that includes  Matt Garza, Jeff Samardzija, and Travis Wood and is the third starting pitchers that Chicago has added this off-season. Arodys Vizcaino, acquired from the Braves in the Paul Maholm deal last July is coming back from Tommy John surgery. Scott Baker and Scott Feldman were signed earlier. The team also signed Japanese reliever Kyuji Fujikawa.  Jackson has pitched for the Dodgers, Rays, Tigers, Diamondbacks, White Sox and Cardinals as well as the Nationals, and has a career 70-71 record and 4.40 ERA.
