Texas Rangers starter Yu Darvish can add “bobblehead mania” to his already impressive major-league resume. On Tuesday night the Texas Rangers ran a promotion for a Yu Darvish “K-Counter” bobblehead that was to be given away to the first 20,000 fans that arrived at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
Fans lined up for hours before the Rangers opened the ballpark in hopes of landing one of the bobbleheards.
Darvish endorsed the product wholeheartedly.
Apparently Rangers fans were uploading the item with their smart phones to eBay less than our after handing out the bobbleheads at 5 PM on Tuesday. Prices that that time ranged from all the way up to $200.
As of this morning bidding on eBay for the Darvish collectible is now ranging from $30-$60.
