Michael Cuddyer was placed on the 15 day disabled list by the Colorado Rockies with an injury to his neck. Cuddyer is hitting .319, and seven home runs and 23 RBI. He will undergo an MRI this week.
To replace Cuddyer Colorado recalled outfielder Charlie Blackmon from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Blackmon was hitting .336 with three homers, 21 RBIs and 35 runs in 31 games.
The Rockies are hopeful Cuddyer will be able to return to the team with a minimum stay on the disabled list.
Fantasy Notes: With Cuddyer’s stay on the disabled list expected to be a short one look for Eric Young to get much more playing time in right field while he is out.
