Roy Oswalt has found the team for 2013. The 35-year-old agreed to terms with the Colorado Rockies on a minor-league deal. Oswalt will report to extended spring training to prepare for yet another spot on a major-league roster, and will likely need at least a few weeks to get in baseball shape.
Oswalt last pitched with the Texas Rangers where he went 4-3 with a 5.80 ERA pitching as a starter and out of the bullpen.
Oswalt’s glory years came as a member of the Houston Astros where he finished in the top six in Cy Young voting six different times. He was traded to Philadelphia in 2010 as part of the trade deadline deal. For his career, Oswalt has a 163-96 record and a 3.28 ERA
