Psy’s new single, “Gentleman,” was played over the public-address system before each of Ryu’s plate appearances, including his third-inning at-bat, in which Ryu hit a run-scoring single.
“I’m just very thankful the game turned out the way it did,” Ryu said through a translator. “It would’ve been a really different situation if it went the other way. I’m glad he came by.”
