Chris Davis and Manny Machado hit two home runs each to lead a seven homer attack and the Baltimore Orioles beat the Toronto Blue Jays

12-2. The seven home runs tied a team record for the Orioles. Nate McLouth hit the first home run in the first inning and Jim Thome and Mark Reynolds also homered.

The Orioles trailed Toronto 2-1 heading into the bottom of the fifth inning, when Thome, Machado and Davis hit home runs during the five-run inning. The Orioles added two runs each in the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings with two run homers by Reynolds, Davis and Machado.

Miguel Gonzalez (8-4) allowed two runs and five hits in seven innings. The Orioles remain 1 1/2 games behind the New York Yankees in the American League East.  Edwin Encarnacion hit his 42nd home run season for the Blue Jays.

The Orioles will be off on Thursday and begin a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox on Friday, and finished the season with a three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays
