Minnesota 6 – Texas 10 – Josh Hamilton had five RBIs and Mitch Moreland doubled in the go-ahead run during a six-run eighth inning to lead the Rangers to a win over the Twins 10-6 . Adrian Beltran hit his fourth home run in today’s and finished the evening with three hits and two runs scored and an RBI. Rot oswalt gave up four runs and seven hits. Over 5 1/3 innings pitched Denard Span had two hits, a double and an RBI with two stolen bases for the Twins in a losing effort.
Los Angeles 14 – Boston 13 – Franklin Morales allowed six runs, two earned, on six hits in 2 2/3 innings pitched. C.J. Wilson gave up seven runs, six earned on eight hits in five innings for the Rangers. Dustin Pedroia was 4for 5 with five RBI and three runs scored in a losing effort for the Red Sox.
Pedro Ciriaco also had four hits and four runs scored for Boston. Jacoby Ellsbury had three hits and three RBI. Cody Ross hit his 19th home run in the ninth inning. Kendrys Morales homeward in the 10th inning and the Angels took the lead and eventually won the game 14-13.
