Miami Marlins NewsMiami 13 – New York 0 – Nathan Eovaldi tossed five scoreless innings for the Marlins. Chris Young allowed seven runs on seven hits with three walks and three home runs in 4 1/3 innings. Giancarlo Stanton slammed two home runs and went 4 for 5 with a double and four RBI.

San Francisco 15 – St. Louis 0 – Marcos Scutaro drove in seven runs had three base hits in six at-bats to lead a 15 hit attack on the St. Louis Cardinals. Buster Posey drove in three runs. Hunter Pence was 2 for 5 with two RBI

Cincinnati 2- Milwaukee 3 Ryan Braun at an RBI double in the eighth inning to help the Brewers complete a three-game sweep of the Cincinnati Reds

Chicago 0 – San Diego 2 –  Clayton Richard threw a five-hitter  and shut out the Cubs. Jeff Samardzija (7-10) allowed one run and four hits in seven innings. 

Atlanta 12 – Philadelphia 6Tim Hudson struck out four, but allowed six runs on six hits, three walks and two home runs in 4 1/3 innings for the Braves. Dan Uggla going 3-for-4 with a walk, double and three RBI. Michael Bourn went 3-for-5 with a home run, double and three RBI. Ryan Howard went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer

Arizona 6 – Pittsburgh 7 – Starling Marte hit a solo home run, Neil Walker homered, doubled and drove in five runs, for the Pirates. Ian Kennedy gave up six runs, five earned runs on eight hits and two home runs in four innings of work

Washington 4 – Houston 3 –  Gio Gonzalez pitched a complete game and hit his first career home run to lead the Washington Nationals over the Houston Astros

Colorado – Los AngelesMatt Kemp homered for the Dodgers.
