The Mariners got outfielder Eric Thames from the Toronto Blue Jays, for reliever Steve Delabar. Delabar, 29, had a 4.17 ERA in 36 2/3 innings.
Both Thames and Travis Snider were moved in separate deals today, with the Blue Jays deciding that Anthony Gose and Rajai Davis fit more of the profile of what the Blue Jays are trying to build, athletic outfielders.
Thames was hitting .335/.412/.536 with six homers in 194 at-bats for Triple-A Las Vegas.
