New York Mets starter R.A. Dickey returned to his winning ways pitching into the eighth inning, allowing four runs, three earned, and struck out five.
Dickey did allow 10 hits in being the Nationals 9-5 . Dickey had struggled since pitching back-to-back one hitters earlier this season.
David Wright hit two home runs for the Mets, scored two runs and had five RBI.
Ryan Zimmerman added his 11th home run for the Nationals.
Earlier in the day, David Price became the first 13 game winner in the American League.

Cincinnati 7 – Arizona 6 – Brandon Phillips led a comeback against the Arizona Diamondbacks five RBI in a home run, Cincinnati rallied from a six run deficit to win 7-6 . Aaron Hill hit his 13th home run for the Diamondbacks.
Chicago 4 – Miami 2 – Paul Maholm pitched eight strong innings and was backed up with four runs including Alfhonso Soriano’s 18th home run of the year in the Cubs beat the Miami Marlins 4-2
Atlanta 3 – San Francisco 2 – The Atlanta Braves could muster only three hits today against the San Francisco Giants pitching , but two of those were home runs by Freddie Freeman and David Ross and the Braves beat the Giants 3-2. Tim Hudson pitched into the eighth inning allowing just two runs for the victory
