The Tampa Bay Rays reportedly have reached an agreement with left-hander Jordan Norberto on a minor league deal. The deal was announced by Norberto on his Twitter account and conformed by Suasn Slusser as a minor league deal.
Norberto is recovering form Tommy John surgery that was performed in June and much serve a 50 dame suspension the result of his ties to the Biogenesis scandal. He likely won’t be an option for the Rays until med-saeson at the earliest.
The 27-year-old left-hander owns a 4.00 ERA and 65/51 K/BB ratio over 78 2/3 innings in the majors.
