Baseball scoresTampa Bay 1  Detroit 10 – Matt Moore  suffered his first loss of the season, lasting just two innings and Prince Fielder homered and drove in four runs as the Detroit Tigers routed Tampa Bay 10-1.

Moore allowed six earned runs and six walks while throwing 86 pitches. Anibal Sanchez  pitched seven innings for the Tigers striking out nine and allowing one earned run.

Cleveland  New York 4 –  David Phelps  Pitched six shutout innings and Mark Teixeira  hit his second home run since coming off the disabled list  and the Yankees beat the Cleveland Indians 4-3.

Texas 5  Boston 17  The Red Sox set season-highs  in runs and hits to beat the Texas Rangers 17-5. Jackie Bradley Jr. homered for the first time in his career. Stephen DrewMike Carp and Jarrod Saltalamacchia also homered for the Red Sox

Minnesota3   Kansas City 0 –  The Royals losing streak extended to 11 games as the Minnesota Twins beat the Royals 3-0. Samuel Deduno (2-1) allowed four hits over six-plus innings for the Twins.

Baltimore 4 Houston 1 –  Danny Valencia homered, Chris Tillman threw seven solid innings and the Baltimore Orioles ended Houston’s six-game winning streak with a 4-1 win over the Astros

Chicago 3  Los Angeles 4 –  Albert Pujols hit a go-ahead homer in the eighth inning and drove in three runs, leading the Angels to a 4-3 victory over the Chicago Cubs

Chicago 4  Seattle 7 –  Felix Hernandez settled down  after a shaky start and run Raul  Ibanez drove in four runs with a two run double in a two run homer to lead the Seattle Mariners over the Chicago White Sox and Jake Peavy 7-4

Miami 3 Philadelphia 7  John Mayberry Jr. In a walkoff grand slam, his second homerun of the night and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Miami Marlins 7-3.

Pittsburgh 4  Atlanta 5  Andrelton Simmons hit a game-ending double off Mark Melancon in the 10th inning, lifting the Atlanta Braves to a 5-4 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Colorado 5 Cincinnati 4  Troy Tulowitzki  homered in the eighth inning and the Colorado Rockies beat the Cincinnati Reds 5-4.

Oakland 3  Milwaukee 4 – Carlos Gomez scored from first on Yuniesky Betancourt‘s line drive to right-center in the bottom of the 10th inning, lifting the Brewers to a 4-3 victory over the Oakland Athletics.

Arizona 7   St. Louis  6 –  Cardinals lose the extra innings, Wacha struggles

San Diego 7 Los Angeles 9 – Yasiel Puig homers twice to power Dodgers

Toronto 1 San Francisco 2 – Tim Lincecum ended a three-start losing streak, Andres Torres hit a two-run homer and the San Francisco Giants beat Melky Cabrera and the Toronto Blue Jays 2-1 Josh Johnson struck out six in seven innings and didn’t walk a batter, In his return from the disabled list.

New York 2 Washington 3 –  Steve Lombardozzi‘s sacrifice fly in the ninth gave the Washington Nationals their first late-inning comeback win of the season, capping a two-run rally for a 3-2 victory over the New York Mets.
