Matt Harvey Dominates White Sox – Mets Win in 10

Mets newsMatt Harvey  isn’t eligible for Rookie of the Year votes, But if he keeps on pitching like this a Cy Young Award may be in his future. Harvey allowed just one hit while striking out 12, but he took a no-decision as the Mets beat the White Sox 1-0 in 10 innings.

Harvey allowed an infield single to Alex Rios with two outs in the seventh inning. Harvey lowered his ERA after seven starts to 1.28, his WHIP to 0.69. He also lowered his career marks after 17 major league starts to a 2.07 ERA and 0.94 WHIP.

Fantasy Play:  Kudos to those For those who drafted Harvey.  drafted normally around the 17th round in most drafts Harvey  is rewarding owners across all pitching categories  and has established himself as an elite pitcher in fantasy baseball as well as the major leagues.
