Reds Power On Display With Six Homers Against Washington

Reds NewsThe Washington Nationals  pitching staff gave up one run in the first three games of the 2013 season heading into their game with the Cincinnati Reds.  The Nationals have now given up 16 runs in four games as the Reds pounded  Washington  pitching for 15 runs, 14 earned to beat the Nats 15-0.

Dan Haren started for Washington and gave up six earned runs in four innings. Zach Duke  followed  allowing six runs, five earned in the rout was on. Todd Frazier and Zack Cozart  each hit two home runs for Cincinnati and Shin-Soo Choo added a solo homer in the fourth and Xavier Paul hit a grand salm in teh 7th inning.

Homer Bailey (1-0) gave up two hits in six scoreless innings.
