St. Louis 8 – Cincinnati 2 – Matt Holliday had four hits and four RBI to back up the pitching of Adam Wainwright who won his fifth consecutive start in the Cardinals beat the Reds 8-2.

Allen Craig added three RBI in a homerun for the Cardinals.

Wainwright allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings on six hits.
