Dan Uggla going 3-for-4 with a walk, double and three RBI. Michael Bourn went 3-for-5 with a home run, double and three RBI. Ryan Howard went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer
Arizona 6 – Pittsburgh 7 – Starling Marte hit a solo home run, Neil Walker homered, doubled and drove in five runs, for the Pirates. Ian Kennedy gave up six runs, five earned runs on eight hits and two home runs in four innings of work
Washington 4 – Houston 3 – Gio Gonzalez pitched a complete game and hit his first career home run to lead the Washington Nationals over the Houston Astros
